Blanchardville Public Library will host a Tech Help day on Monday Jan. 5, 2-4 p.m. Bring your devices (laptops, phones, tablets etc), passwords and questions. We will have professional help here to help you.
Prom for Pennies
Prom for Pennies, sponsored by Monroe High School Junior Optimists, is looking for donations of gently used prom and formal dresses, tuxedos, shoes, jewelry and more! If you are looking to clean out some closets and donate to a great cause, look no further!
Now until January 7, you can drop donated dresses, shoes, & jewelry off at Argyle High School. Chief Saalsaa will be helping us take donations to the Monroe High School.
Donations can be dropped off during normal school hours. Please call before coming over Christmas break as we will be taking time to spend with our families too!
Annual Meeting
Sunday, Jan. 11, the Lafayette County Historical and Genealogy Society will hold its Annual Membership Meeting featuring a presentation on the latest publication – The Darlington Depot and Caboose, Historical Preservation and Restoration, at 1 p.m. The program is free and open to the public. People are encouraged to bring questions or railroad artifacts for show and tell or donation to the museum. Location is the lower level meeting room of the museum at 525 Main St. Darlington.
